If faith is a good method to know the existence of God, why is the same method not used in a court of law to determine who murdered someone? Before you send someone to die, isn’t it a good idea to make sure it’s the right person? Should you pick anybody off the street and ask them to prove they did not commit the murder, and if they don’t know what you are talking about, they are obviously guilty? Should the burden of proving you did not do the murder rest on you or on he who claims it was you and accuses you? If I start claiming that I feel God within myself, shouldn’t I show you some evidence? Or since you don’t know what I am talking about, you are obviously deaf, and have no eyes to see, no introspective ability, so you must be obviously illogical, and all I have to tell you is “Pray and have faith!.”
In the Middle Ages someone who couldn’t prove that the Devil DID NOT talk to him, was guilty anyway and had to be tortured and killed. We could still do that experiment and just pick anyone off the street and tell him or her that WE KNOW that Satan has possessed him/her. We KNOW, not by proof of evidence, but because the Blue Angel spoke to us. How about that method in a court of law? It would cost expensive lawyers, and it would save the taxpayers money.
Since when it comes to practical application faith is the same in every religion, why don’t all faithful join together in Iran and form the new country of the AlmightyAllahJehovaShivaVishnu Incorporated?

It would be more accurate to say that God created the universe in 6 ' stages ' and took a break. The term day is a metaphor, so the people of the time could understand easier. They weren't too big on science back then.
Best wishes.

In the bible it is written in 2Peter3:8 It says beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. So to us it seem like that but to God nothing is impossible, just look at nature how beutiful it is it did not happen on it own it was the hand of God an He created you special.

There's no evidence for any gods. The creation of the earth in 7 days is completely contrary to the evidence; an idea that should be acceptable only to the most ignorant of people.

No man can convince you that God did in fact create the earth in seven days. You have to accept that and believe that yourself through the divine revelation of God. If you are sincere in your concerns, just ask God to reveal the truth to you. And He will.

I feel the same as you. I believe in God, but I'm not so sure I believe in everything the Bible has to say. I think it's a well written book for the time & it has some truth to it, but it's changed from the real truth of things.

Most Christians offer their God more freedom to fulfill His prophecies than creationists. If you ask me, and you did, I think creationism is a great detriment to the children of fundamentalists. It destroys their faith, when evolution begins to look like fact.

Depends which system you personally use, to determine what is real?
A faith based system says what you wish were true is true.
A reason based system demands hard evidence.
I use system 2, so God is not real.
