As long as there was no intent for murder then you have nothing to worry about but if in the last 5 years you have been in certain circumstances were you have physical assaulted the person there is a possibility that you could be charge with involuntary manslaughter in lieu of the assault the person may have been in fear of his or her life causing a pulmonary embolism. Or if they person was a non-affiliate with your race and the joke was of a racist form such has have a black guy as the target and dressing up in HOOD and Cloak then you will most defiantly be prosecuted form involuntary manslaughter.

You may be considered one by family members but not the law. Depending on the joke, you may have to go to court but should not be charged a major charge. Best advice? Don't play pranks on anyone.

I don't think you would. Your intentions was not to kill the person. Its not your fault they had a heart attack....they would have had the heart attack even if you did not scare them!

I dont know thats a good one never thought of that... hope you arnt asking this cuz it happened to you. Im guessing no because you didnt do it intentionaly trying to kill them it was an acident so not your fault.

no but possibly manslaughter depending on your knowledge of the person you scared and if you had knowledge that your actions could lead to the persons death.
