During the cake cutting at my best friend's wedding, she (and her husband) called me (the maid of honor) and the best man up to the table. When they cut the cake, they pretended to throw the cake in each other's faces like normal. Instead, they both spun around and got me and the best man instead. It was absolutely friggin' hilarious! One of my best memories.

So, eventually, I'm going to get married (probably in the next five years . . . the boyfriend and I are taking it slow, but we both know we want to marry each other). I really want to get my best friend good, but I'm having a hard time thinking of something. I've been pondering this for almost seven years! My boyfriend wants to do it too, but he hasn't been able to think of anything either.

Ideas? We've been best friends for 18 years. I think almost anything goes.

Thanks!

Wow, some of you people have no sense of humor. It was all in good fun. We're fun loving people. If you have nothing to contribute, don't answer.

I'd do it IF my bridesmaids change out of their dresses at the reception. I'm not going to ruin a $100+ dress! :) Hilarious though it would be . . . .

Plan a practicle joke. Like plan this huge fight right before the wedding. You guys are saying that you might call off the wedding, cause hes doing this and that. And your husband can say he is seeing someone on the side... that would be funny.

But if you wanted the guests to see and laugh umm thats a toughy. Dedicate a crazy song to them or something or make them dance to a crazy song.

First off...take the wedding ceremony seriously and then go nuts at the reception. Some of these people are silly to say you shouldn't do that at the wedding! Some people just have no sense of humor! I think it is great that you guys are doing this!! We did fun things at my reception too and people are still talking about it and how much fun it was! This is a tough one to think of something to get back at them though! I did like the whoopie cushion idea...

Things people have done in my family:

Hire a belly dancer.

"lose" the ring but have ring pop's instead

pretend to have their water break (obviously you need a pregnant woman for this one)

wear an I'm with stupid shirt

I don't know if any of those could be switched around to make fun of your friend though. I have an uncle who is a major joker and so at his weddings (he's been married 3 times) someone always goofs off. His son's did the 2nd and 4th one at his second wedding and the bride's daughter at his third and last wedding faked going into labor. The uncle himself hired a belly dancer to appear at my mother's wedding shower which was held in the ladies club place in their town. So all the little old ladies were shocked out of their minds.

In an arranged marriage, the couple purely does not have a say contained in the situation. What makes you think of they are going to have a say contained in the situation of divorce?? In India, the sole reason divorce costs are low is using human beings hectic appropriate to the aftermath and social alienation contained in the regressive Indian society. Social photograph concerns to them and Indians decide human beings for being divorced. for that reason, low divorce costs are under no circumstances a correct representation of arranged marriages lasting longer than love marriages. Love marriages are greater effective any day.

call your friend up to center stage at the reception, and start talking about how your relationship has been in the past 18 years. Even start to get chocked up!! (lol) then tell about what she did to you at her own wedding (the cake incident). And say "that is why i have to do this" and as soon as you say 'this', sum1 will poor a keg of cold water or something on her! That would be hilarious. please tell me if you are going to do this!!!!!

Thanks, it would be funny...huh?

attach condoms(secretly to her vail and his coat tail)

but a midget stripper in the cake

have a speaker in the cake so that when they cut it you hit a
button and it makes a fart sound or something similiar.

Switch the rings out for onion rings or switch them out for copper duplicates of the ring that way a couple of days later they both start thinking the other is a cheap ***

pretend to lose the ring, take yours off and give it to her to borrow, and tell her you'll need it back when this is all over
or
just pretend to lose the ring

switch the spark plug wires around in their "get-away" car

Tricky..How about ask her to help you hold the 'tricky flower bouquet' first while you do something and spurt the water from the flowers onto her face?
hahaha:)

I am so glad you thought that was hilarious. Frankly, I think weddings are romantic occasions and should be dignified and not silly. Marriage is serious and should be forever. I think it's immature to throw cake around the reception. Like food fighting. At a wedding!!! So kindergarten....

Fool around with her husband and tape it. Then when everyone is eating tell them you have a "slide show" you wanna play. Then play the tape. Everyone will laugh so hard. Your friend will crack up and realize you got her back.
