That's something you can look up through your cable provider, but the following channels seem pretty standard across the country.
Networks: CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, WB (now CW) - basically all the networks
Premium: HBO, Starz, Showtime, Cinemax - basically each premium service will have an HD version of their main channel.
Cable: ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, Discovery, and some others
Also, there are HD Mirrors such as INHD for Comcast which will have HD simulcasts of programming recorded on HD but only available on regular def channels. For example in the New York area, YES is a non-HD channel which shows all the Yankee games, however they are also shown on INHD for HD Viewers.

Go to this website and put in your exact address. The stations that come up with -DT are HD channels. You can click the radio button so that it shows you digital stations only so the analog ones don't show. This doesn't show any sub channels the station may have. It does show what size of an antenna you'd need for acceptable reception of these stations.

Check with your cable or satellite provider for what they carry in your area in HD.
