Technically it probably meets the accepted definitions.

But, then again, so does Green Peace, Veganism and PETA.

PETA actually can almost be defined as a terrorist hate group.

You should ask yourself what do you really want to know by asking that question. Look up the definition of cult if you have to. But know that placing Jesus in the category of a cult leader is limiting your understanding of who he is. There are many so-called Christian cults but there is only one Lord and savior who is Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God.

Not really.

Jesus claimed he wasn't destroying His religious heritage, simply fulfilling it.

If you don't believe the claims of the Bible....He is a cult leader.

But if the Bible is true....better think long and hard about Him.

The Master does whatever he is tasked to do by his Creator, himself as Successor, creating backwards thru time.
Stated in another way, Jesus did exactly as he was asked by himself from a future time, in a future body.
He created the world, or the manifest waking dream, created his own birth body, changed his world as he felt was necessary to accomplish his destiny.
To use the word "just" is very disrespectful and unknowledgeable of his Divinity. His authority over all elements of the dream was absolute then.
And in this lifetime, the Master's authority is even greater, as is his wisdom.

He is God Almighty. John 3:17 -- For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

I agree with you Kerylin. No bad feelings intended. Some people would call your question blasphemy. But we are all sinners!
