i am a 24yo lady whom ppl often say is pretty etc, not what i say just what they tell me and i work in an office full of young men and women but i dont get any interest. what do other girls do?

i think a couple of young ppl at the work place are together and they seem pretty taken with each. i just dont know how to meet a guy, sad eh? tried dating agencies as that is what my mum keeps telling me as that is how my parents met and they are still together but that didnt work for me. i thought about clubs/pubs but i dont think u meet anybody genuine there. how do i meet a nice chap?

i dont think the dating thing is too much problem as my contract runs out in june/july so if i broke up with them i would not see them for too much longer.

u are right kay, i am not very confident, i am quite self conscious and dont have much self esteem, plus my family and i have just suffered a bereavement so my mum is not very well either, too many problems to mention!

dont worry about it.
workplace relationships dont work out most of the time.
just imagine going out with one of those guys for a few months and then having a huge messy break up one weekend, then having to see him at work on the monday.
also if you just sleep around you will be known as the office slag and that wouldnt be good either.
it isnt nice. or a good idea. dont go there hun.

It sounds as though you are not very confident. Im sure you are pretty ect but if you don't have a possative language then it shows. Im not saying walk around like you are hot stuff but try being a little flirty and walk like with your head up. I know because I was the same!
