I have been dating this guy for about a 2 weeks now. We are really compatible and I feel this will go long term. However, with the Christmas coming up, I'm unsure of whether or not I should buy him a gift. and if so what? I think he is really sweet and I would love to get him something but is it too soon? and again what do you buy someone you've known for 2 weeks? Well it will be longer by christmas. Ok a month. Any suggestions.

All of your ideas were great. Except the ps3, yeah right. Anyways, our 1st date was at the movies so I think I'm going to get him a christmas stocking, fill it with candy, and movie gift certificates.

Your into him enough, feel free to buy him a gift. It should be something cute to remember you by, and at the same time keep it modest.
If I were dating a girl for 2 weeks and she bought me something crazy like jewelry, I would probably start to freak out.

If its only been to weeks and you want to get him something I say go for it. Giving is what the holidays are about.
As far as what I would keep it simple. Since you need more time together and you want to keep things going I would buy him a gift you can use together. My favorite first dates were to the movies. I would suggest movie gift certificates. Or if you 2 have a favorite meeting ground get a gift certicate from there.
Give him a card that says.. I just love spending time with you.. lets do it more often meet me here.. or lets go here together.

I'm from the states and I start buying the day after thanksgiving on black friday. They usually have the best deals on that day and over the weekend. I usually get most of my shopping done in that one day and even though it's fricken nutz and there is oodles of people out on that day I find it very fun to get up at 4 am and go shopping on that day EDIT i'll be starting to make soap products soon as well and i would suggest maybe find some holiday craft fares. I think now through december would be a good time to start selling. Also something i'm planning on doing is making gift baskets with holiday scented soaps, bath fizzers, bath beads, bath tea bags and maybe bodycreams/lotions. Another good idea for getting your product out would maybe be craigslist.

It isn't too early in the relationship to get him a small and thoughtful gift. I'd say around $25 is the right amount to spend on a 1 month boyfriend at Christmas.

haha...PS3 (yeah right). Yes, you should get him something. Maybe a gift card for $10-$20, and a card and christmas candy would be nice. I don't think you HAVE to...but if you really like him, it might help. It's up to you. Good luck! : )

It is to soon but you dont want to feel bad if he gets you something and you dont have nothing for him. I would at least get him a Christmas card with a 10$ gift card in it. Or a wallet.Good luck.

This is going to sound weird. Go ahead and buy him something, not too expensive, wait to see if he gives you a gift, if he doesn't just take it back. No ones feelings are hurt.

Its a nice thing to do. Maybe a gift card to the movies. (so he can take you along). Or buy him a shirt from his favorite store. Something small. Or you could wrap yourself up and say "Im fruit cake, now eat me!" Idk. Last comment was lame. Sorry. Give him your ears, heart, lips, eyes, and touch so he can feel the warmth that he dears so much.
