I have a used one in like-new conditions. It was only used to get the paper and stuff.

Well, again I am referring to www.petfinders.com, and it shows a LOT of these dogs in your area! These are all from shelters and rescue groups. This means that they are dogs whose typical violation is they were "too energetic" or "too mellow" or there is always the hard to comprehend response "they aren't the color I wanted." Sadly, most never make it to a no-kill facility and are put down for these horrendous crimes against humanity! (Yes, that's sarcasm.) So, try there. They are all spayed/neutered and temperament tested, so you can find the right one to fit your personality. Just remember this is a big, life-long commitment. Good luck!
