I am seventeen and have had acne four 5 years now. I have an allergy to the best acne medicine out there--Benzoyl Peroxide. I've tried everything out there...the pills perscribed by my derm, topical gels, birth control (Yasmin). I am next looking into having dermabrasion but am afraid that my skin won't be able to handle it. I am looking for further information about the procedure and also on microdermabrasion and would also like to hear from those who've had it done. Also, what other options do I have, if any?

once in awhile you will get acne. it's normal. anyway i had serious acne last year, but this year i have a clear forehead!

wanna know my secret?

every night when i take a shower, i use some of the body soap to wash my face. it washes off the oil from my face, so now it won't clog my pores, which is the biggest reason for blossoming acne. ok, now my face is dry, so I put on a LITTLE BIT of lotion, not too much to clog my pores, but just enough to soothe my skin and moisterize my face.

after a while, my skin is clearing up, and i have oil-free skin! plus, soap and lotion doesn't have Benzoyl Peroxide!

PS- I'm allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide too. Good Luck! ;)

I LOVE the Mary Kay microdermabrasion set. It's only $55 and uses the exact same crystals that the dermatologists use and charge you $100 a session for. And the $55 bottles last months. It's two steps. I do mine in the shower and I've gotten so many compliments on how my skin looks...

Click the link below for a free sample-- it's free, you might as well give it a try! I guarantee people will notice after just one or two uses.
