Ironically, I'm taking Cymbalta for my migraines. The first 2 weeks I had disinterest in food and felt like gagging on some things I ate....but this all diminished.
I'm with the other two...give it two weeks and then talk to you dr. If using this for depression, I had great results with Lexapro. Only switched to Cymbalta because it's used to also treat migraines. I hope that helps!

side effects to any SSNRI or SSRI can resolve within a few weeks of starting it, usually by 4 weeks. If not, your body may not be able to compensate for it. Does tylenol or motrin help? Is the med working for you otherwise?
at some point if the side effects are bothersome and aren't going away, you need to figure out if you can treat the side-effects, or if you need to switch meds. compared to other SSNRI's, Cymbalta has a lower side effect profile than most...
it's different for every person, how they react, if they get side effects, what side effects they get, if they get therapeutic from it...

My boyfriend started on this med about 2 months ago. He had bad headaches and a very upset stomach for about two weeks. They gradually got less painful, but if after 2 weeks, tell your doctor, you might need to try something else. He was taking same dose as you are taikng.

i attempted it for the primary time the previous day and it gave me relatively dangerous belly cramps, i didn't love it. Remember with antidepressents if you are taking them for a whilst you should not abruptly give up taking them, speak for your general practitioner perhaps you wish to have whatever else.
