probably a couple of hundreds im not really sure but a root canal is like 300.00 or more. I think it depends on the dentist, you can always call up there and asked them how much they charge.

I had to pay £50 just to walk through the door the last time I went private. He charged me £70 for two very small fillings. £120 all told. Didn't check the other teeth and refused advice until I'd registered (which I didn't). It was the only dentist within travelling distance that had any appointments available and I could see why. Do everything you can to get NHS care. Your dentist would be a hero to keep you on NHS books after not visiting for 7 years though.

a filling for private is about £60. when i first went to private i had 2 xrays a scale and polish and a check up the whole lot came to about £60. They will try and do a scale and polish with each 6 month visit so that will be £45 with the price of the check up. hope this helps! theres not many nhs dentists anymore.

The up to date charges are to check up and clean your teeth is £15. You may as well have your teeth cleaned because you will get charged anyway.
A filling will cost you £42 and incidentally, an extraction will cost the same. These are the new NHS charges. They aren't cheap are they? Good old Tony Blair
