Interesting question. As a Christian I've never looked at it like that since God is so real to me.

We know the truth is not relative. Meaning that just because you believe in something doesn't make it true.

I can tell you this: I know it is true that I have the Holy Spirit dwelling with me. I know because I can feel it and it guides me and can show me things. When I am being spiritually minded, I am more in tune with it and when I am not, I lose connection with the power of it.

It might sound crazy to those who don't have the Holy Spirit, but to others that do, they understand fully what I mean. I used to think that people who talked like that were psycho delusional nutjobs. However, now that I experienced it for myself, I know it's real.

Since the Holy Spirit has proven to be true, it would be logical to assume the rest of what the bible teaches is true. Especially since I have applied the teachings to my life and experienced the exact results it predicts I will experience. The bible has never proven to be wrong with its guidance.

But, you are somewhat correct. I've never seen the afterlife personally. But, I do know it exists because of certain experiences I've had and things I've seen. It definately isn't exactly as I imagine it to be, but I know it exists.

God has proven Himself to me to be real. Unfortunately, I can't prove it to you with tangible evidence.
So, am I a liar? Absolutely not. Unbelievers cannot understand until they become believers.

An interesting book I think you should read is "God doesn't believe in Atheists" by Ray Comfort.

It explains how Atheists are the liars since they're speaking from a lack of experience.
It is a very thought provoking book that is written very well.

Unless you are 100% sure of something, then you can not call someone else a liar for proclaiming what they believe to be true. Until you and they are dead and the truth is revealed, best to kept the name calling out.

Well, the people who claim to know that there is a life after death are liars, given the lack of evidence. Those who claim to know that there is not are simply telling the truth: in the absence of evidence, that's the right answer.

A liar, by definition, gives false information knowingly. A person who believes they truly know that there is life after death is not lying - they are stating the facts as they perceive them.

Some of them think they know so technicaly they are not liars, but they have been told often enough that they should not be certain about anything so yes, they are deliberately misrepresenting the truth

You get to find out personally. The above is disingenuous and adds a listing to the preexisting charges.

If there is no existence after death, then yes they are liars. If there is existence after death, then no they are not liars.
If there is no God, and you reject him on earth, then it really doesn't matter, your just dead. But if there is a God, and we reject him, what would be the consequence of our decision?

Either liars or insane.

You know you can't throw big words around it here. They get stuck in peoples earholes.

The truth should be proveable. So, just ask for proof!
