The gun is a 1988 Ruger mini 14, 223 cal with blued barrel and woodstock. It is brand new in the box and has never been fired, anyone know what it would be worth?

The Blue Book of Gun Values shows it at $535 in 100% condition. Seeing as how the Mini 14 is more of a shooter than a collectible firearm I don't think you'd get much more than that even though it is unfired. But, you never know, sometimes people will pay outrageous amounts for something they particularly want.

according to Standard Catalog of Firearms, a new in box ruger mini 14 is worth $465. I have a stainless steel ruger mini 14 that I bought about 4 years ago for $525.

I have a 89 factory folding stock, one of the last and turned down 900 for it used.
