I've heard dentists kill themselves / are depressed the most. Then I've heard lawyers. I've also heard cops are pretty high up there. I don't know what the real answer is...or if the stats are even out there. Anyone know?

I read about it in college a couple years ago... at the time, dentists had the highest depression and suicide rates. It may be different now.

Lawyers have one of the highest rates of career dissatisfaction and alcoholism. Maybe its because they spend 14 hour days not really doing anything. I mean, a lawyer never built a bridge or a factory, or cured a disease or anything... They just schmooze with each other and a bunch of judges and politicians and somehow get paid for it. This isn't my opinion, I read an actual study on it not too long ago.
