I design jewelry and want to get my stuff out to stores, so I was thinking of a press kit. Besides pictures and descriptions of my work, what should I include?

I don't know much about it, but I found a wikipedia article with a few ideas... you can probably find more ideas with a google search for press kit...

There are many books and internet resources that explain press kits. You want to include information about yourself as well. Your training / experience and a statement about why you create this type of jewelry. People want to know who the artist is and what motivates them to create - places more value to the work. I read that in a book called Making It As An Artist.

In addition to the fine answers from the others, I'll add price point, wholesale or consignment, payment upon delivery of order or 30 net accounts? Are you willing to do custom work (bridal sets, color requests, style requests), turn around time ( how long will it take to make and deliver the pieces), web address if any, listings of other vendors who carry your work, any press articles of gallery/store events that you have been mentioned in.
