it is a toss up between the top of my foot and my spine. the top of my foot took a lot longer than the few minutes on my spine. BUT i don't think i could take hours of tattooing on my spine. it rattles my brain.

I have a floral belt that goes all the way around my waist. When I had the lower abdomen done, that was pretty painful. Also, the inside of my bicep hurt as well. I've heard others say that the ribcage and also that part of your leg where your butt meets your leg is suppose to hurt pretty darn bad.

The back of my ankle hurt the worst of my 5. The least painful was on my ring finger or on the back of my neck.

Definitely lower back over the kidneys. My tattooist said you have more nerve clusters there then just about anywhere on the body. My others didn't hurt; that one hurt like Hades.

I got one on my forearm and it hurt. I wanted to get one on the top of my foot but was scared it might hurt too much.

I've heard that the ribcage is the worst, but in my experience, anywhere "soft" is the most painful: near the armpits (I have my shoulders done), the love-handles...

a relative of mine had the entire dark crystal characters on both of his ribcages among other tatoos. this is the most painful being that there is less skin and more bone for the skinnier people
