Normal first aid things: band-aids, gauze, some form of antiseptic (iodine, neosporin, or whatever you prefer). You'd also want to bring an ample supply of whatever over the counter pain relievers you prefer, and any other over the counter medications that you take relatively often (cold medicines, or whatever else). Since you're going to be in a foreign country, probably eating some weird food, you'll probably also want to bring an anti-diarrheal of some form, and something along the lines of Pepto Bismol.

Depending exactly where you're going, you might also want to talk to your doctor about getting a prescription for antibiotics. In developing countries it's not always easy to get antibiotics, especially if you're going to be in a fairly remote area. That would only be for if you're going to be someplace where you're likely to have trouble getting antibiotics if you do get sick.

Another thing to think about is that you're probably not going to be able to drink the water where you're staying. Depending exactly where you're going, bottled water may or may not always be availabe, so you might want to go to an outdoors type of store and get iodine tablets (and neutralizer tablets as otherwise they taste quite foul). But again that depends where you're staying, and whether you want to pay for bottled water while you're there.

Take a look at this website. It looks rather useful and very detailed - it includes everything you should can utilize during "minor" emergencies. To save you some time, take a look around in Wal-mart, some of the popular shopping changes or your doctor's office, as they may have pre-organized first-aid kits for a low price.
