Two things:

1) Edit your post and remove the number.

2) Call Microsoft and they will get you a new key, however they will first ask you some verification questions regarding the OS.

EDIT (citygirl):

Actually when you buy Windows XP, legally, you are only entitled to install it on one PC at at time. Legally and at a time, are the keywords there.

I have an SP2 disk so they certainly do exist. And by this I mean a disk containing the SP2 upgrade (not a disk with Windows XP including SP2). Because the SP2 upgrade is such a massive download, at one time Microsoft would give you a free upgrade disk if you asked for one. I doubt they still do this, though. If your Internet provider is asking you to re-install Windows XP and you have the means of doing this, it does not matter whether the version of XP you install is the original version, or SP1 or SP2. After the re-install you need to download and install SP2 and then the hundred or so Microsoft updates that come after it. If you just need access to an XP SP2 CD and you did not get one with your computer, then see if you can borrow one. This is perfectly legitimate provided you have a legitimate XP product key.

If its an authentic Key and disc, contact microsoft for help.

NO ONE on yahoo can find the key code for you unless WinXP has already been installed on one of your computers at an earlier date, if so, you can get a key off one of those computers to use with the disc you are installing.

I used the same disc and key code on all 6 of my computers without a problem.

Psst.... Mr/Mrs Microsoft Security below me
They are all my computers in my own home, not someone elses computer, but thanks for informing me that I should buy a copy for each ...hmmm...6 copies how much would that be???
I paid Microsoft for 1 and thats all I'm paying for. I dont pass it around for my neighbors or friends to use.

I agree you paid once and should be able to use it at your home as much as you want.
Like playing a CD or DVD , should you buy another to play it in a different CD player?
NO
Microsoft is greedy.

Only way to help with this is to contact Microsoft. They will check your copy of Windows to ensure it is a legal copy, then they will issue you a new product key if they can prove it is a valid copy.

This may help:

You realize it piracy and illegal to install the same copy of windows (ie. same cd key) on more than one computer at a time, right?
