I've found that it's easier for me to get a better price for my car at auction. Check into it in your area.

go to either NADA.com or kelleybluebook.com there you can search your car to specific details. then they give you a price of what it is worth and you can adjust if from there with some of the accessories that you have that might not be on the website for instance dvd player

You can get the Kelly Blue Book value on line. Go to www.kbb.com and select year, make, model, etc. It will also ask about how the car is equipped.
