As a wise consumer, I’m aggravated how much supermarkets for necessities such as milk, bread, meats, orange juice etc. There should be some kind of law prohibiting this price gouging. So what I do to teach these establishments a lesson is very simple. For each over priced item I buy, I place one of their finest packaged meats under the shopping cart (usually between kitty litter & a blank poster board I get from the stationary dept). If I get over charged for 10 items then there will be 10 meats (filet Mignon, NY strip, etc) hidden under my cart and are MINE "on the house". That will teach them. I advise everyone to do the same. My question is for you folks to let me know what you think of my shopping methods? If you like them, do it yourself!!!! By taking a stand together, we will get these prices down!!!!

As good as this might be for YOU. Know that is one of the reasons prices continue to increase.

How do you earn your income? I wonder how many times you are cheated out of your rightful money. What people do usually comes back to haunt them in some form or another, good or bad depending on their own actions. Think about what you are truly doing, stealing. Shop somewhere where you like the prices. Maybe God will have you gag on your stolen meat, and rightfully so. You sound like you are a negative and suspicious character. Do you have good friends or just gripes?

You do realize that this is called shoplifting. By doing this you aren't "teaching them a lesson" you're raising up the prices for honest consumers. If you don't like the store's prices shop somewhere else.

Shoplifting and thievery, such as you are promoting, is one of the main reasons behind prices rising.

So not only are you proposing something criminal, but counterproductive.

Please don't advise others to break the law and be as hypocritical as you are.

Oh and by the way, I doubt you have gotten away with this even once, in today's era of increased security. So you're probably lying as well.

How are they supposed to realize this "lesson" you are wanting to "teach" them if they don't even know you are stealing their stuff? And if they found out you were stealing from them, how are they supposed to know you are teaching them a lesson unless you tell them. Oh, and stealing does nothing more than drive prices up even more, so thanks for the high prices!!

You are the reason the prices go up. Stores have to recover their losses from theft.

No matter how you rationalize it... it's theft.
