yes it is considered adultery because you would be kissing/touching a strange man which can cause a spark. btw, what religion are you. i can speak for Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Those are the only religions sent from God (Allah) and all of them forbid such because it'll come under fornication.

adultery is when you are married and kiss someone besides you spouse. If you are not married ..then you are not committing adulatory.

If you are not married at all- then no, it's just an innocent New Year's tradition.
If you are married but are kissing someone besides your spouse- then most people would consider that cheating (adultery), though there are exceptions.

To commit adultery you must be married and having intimate relations with some one out of your marriage. Friends, family and community people all come together in the name of celebration. Its all in good fun and that is completely encouraged by this society.

Will you look up the word adultory. It means cheating when you're married. A New Years kiss when you are not married (and the other person isn't married) isnt adultory.

What kind of kiss? And who is getting kissed? You kiss your family,,friends maybe but if its a romantic kiss or lustful,,then its wrong.
