I would suggest to put him in a crate when you go out somewhere...this will help him not to go to the bathroom in the house but to go outside when he has to and to hold it when he cant go outside...also it helps with him not to destroy anything he sees when he gets bored or something...well hope this helps and good luck...

just put the dog in the crate when not at home but make sure the crate is not to big. Most dogs will not wee in their homes if they know that it is just big enough for them to sit in. And make sure you don't use the crate as punishment. The dog will learn that he is being punished everytime he is put in there. So leave the door open for them to get comfortable while you are there and that will let him know it is a safe zone. And this will help to stop the wee wees while you are gone.

You can also try fixing the dog that helps as well.

cover a really learge area with newspaper and give him positive reinforcement for going on it. Each week reduce the size of the area by 25%. When it's the size of a kitty litter box, slowly move it towrds the door and outside, week by week, continuing to give him positive reinforcement all along.
