Yes I have scared of getting hurt,I just made a terrible mistake with this girl in New Mexico and sent her really mean e-mails cuz I thought she wasn't interested and now i find out that she was in this huge car accident and that's why she never replied back to me and now i feel like a total asshole. I do still love her with all my heart and i hope she can forgive me. My e-mail is thatswhack3@yahoo.com if you can help.

Of course. I am always afraid of getting hurt when starting a new relationship with a person that I feel I have completely connected to. I personally am not the one to intentionally hurt the person I'm in a relationship with.

oh yes, oh yes...
I could write a book on this.
I was betrayed by my husband who I loved dearly and devoted my life to for 20 years. Now 3 years later, I am learning to trust again.. Every now and then a piece of that old wall falls away, and I am glad. Takes time.. at least for me.
When I first started dating, I would not ever let any man near me emotionally that is. I would blow them away oh, every month or so. I think maybe 2 months is the longest time I ever went with a guy. I am sad to say that I did break some hearts. If they fell in love with me, I would break up with them.
It takes alot of courage to let that fear go, but it is the best alternative. I don't want to live my life behind that wall because I am afraid to get hurt.. but at the same time, I do want to be cautious.
I am closer to my boyfriend now than I have ever been with anyone. He is very patient. and as he says, he has been chasing me for over a year. :)
take care.

Oh man. Every time a guy would come into my life, I'd always get my hopes up so high. And then eventually my hopes decreased because I've had a lot of jerks in my life. I just started hurting because I knew every relationship would just end just like that... like all the others.
Little did I know that the one I would fall in love with was right under my nose the entire time. He proved to me that not all guys are jerks. He's one of a kind.
He taught me to not be scared to get my heart broken. If I was scared all my life, I wouldn't be able to experience ANYTHING.
God has a plan for you. He will bring you the right one in His time.
Just have faith in Him.

Yes. It's natural to feel that way. You have to give it time. Everyone should be cautious when entering new relationships. Trust takes time. If you feel the same way after being together for a little while, and I mean together in a committed relationship not just dating, then you need to re-evaluate and see if this person is truly right for you. Good Luck.

i have yeah but that was down to past relationships where i had been hurt but you should never let yourself be scared of something you havent tried yet a relationship has to start somewhere no use thinking about being hurt when nothings even started ... if your worried about being hurt or hurting someone take it slow and see how things get on
