one pickle = about 2 calories. They list pickles as having zero calories on the jar because they are assuming you are only eating half the pickle.

Pickles are mostly water, so, as you probably know, water has no calories, so pickles have hardly any calories... one small cookie probably has more calories than three or four large pickles.
