This is not a joke - can someone please explain to me what "Jesus died for our sins" means? I need a detailed explanation - I've had a lot of people tell me he died for us so we can be forgiven, and other short explanations - I've had a lot of 2 or 3 line explanations. I need it explained to me because I just don't get it. I mean it might as well be written in another language to me. I just don't get it.The concept really eludes me - totally.

2 Cor 5:2

God made him (Jesus) who had no sin (He never commited a sin) to be sin for us (because we have sin), so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (so God see His sacrifice and not our sin).

Without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness of sin. Christ had to die in order because or any animal are not good enough or perfect enough to satify God justice. God can not tolerate sin. So in order that there be a way for us to have a relationship with God, Jesus died. When looks at believers No longer sees the sin that we commited but the atoning sacrifice of Christ. Jesus died because we (believers) sin. Please feel free to email me, I don't promise to have all the answer but I will try to help you understand.

What is a sin? Thou shalt not... He died for the sins of man before us, meaning before his death. It was a wicked time. His resurrection (Easter) was for the future. By accepting him and by abiding the word of God, your sins will be washed away and you will walk with the father in heaven...yadda, yadda, yadda. At least that's how I've come to understand it. Truth be told, it is another language. The bible is a translation. And, if you remember in school when the teacher did the "pass it on" game where she gave a note to a student on one side of the room and had the student read the note to the next student and so on and so on until you reached the last student on the opposite side of the room. When asked to repeat the message, the last student would repeat a message that had become completely different. So, who really knows? The bible thumpers will say the bible has all the answers and others will say "faith and trust in the lord". Bottom line, interpretation and/or meaning is up to you. If your interpretation/meaning gives you comfort, then so be it.

Before God came in Christ Jesus to walk here with man for the last time on this earth... the only way to put off sin was to make an animal sacrifice.... the blood was payment of the sin debt...Jesus The Christ was both fully God and fully man... The mortal flesh was sacrificed on The Cross and The Blood was the final Sacrifice for all of mankind... it paid the sin debt of all, past present and future... All who will come to God as He prescribes will be seen by God to be covered by The Blood of Christ... God will see no sin in them... All who come to God as he prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and become of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... those are the ones of The True Christian Faith who have accepted the covering of Christs Blood. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven...... Those who do not accept the covering of Christs Blood will be eternaly seperated from God.

if you have question concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith you may email me. One honest question receives one honest answer to the best of my ability...... some of it can get a bit complicated but I try to keepit simple.

Just like Custer died for the sins of the White Man, so Jesus died for the sins of the Jews.
