As she is a big dog her season may last longer than a small type would. It should only last about 3/4 weeks if that. She will bleed, maybe heavy at first and then go light and heavy again. Some days she might not even bleed at all and other days it will be constantly. My English Bull Terrier ***** has just had her 1st season hers is still going on a bit and it's been 6 weeks now, We have just got another Bully pup and she has started producing teats so I took her to the vets to check that my Jack Russell hadn't got to her and it turns out that the silly girlie is having a phantom pregnancy brought on by our new puppy. Very sweet but not ideal she's going to be a good mummy when she's older though!!

Small watery red spots in your house, on the floor. She will have swelling from where the blood is dripping from. She might try to escape the house, other dogs might try to break in to 'see' her. Should last more then a month, 2 - 4 weeks is standard spotting time, 2-4 weeks more for heat to be done.

It will last three weeks. Some dogs will kept themself pretty clean. If not then you may have to buy her something to wear or cover your furniture. But the heat only last three weeks not four like some say here lol. Watch your dog since she is two young to breed. You will find other male dogs coming around your house. You will find she wants out more.

It can last for about 3weeks and the most obvious sign is that you will prob notice spotting of blood over your floor. If you dont plan to breed then get her spayed after her season finishes, and remember dont let her out with other dogs untill her heat has ended.Good luck

Your dogs isn't in discomfort in any respect. no favor to rigidity all you want to do is save her faraway from adult males except you opt for her to have domestic dogs. and also you could also ensure out what photos she dogs has in case you carry her to the vet she'll have her personal tag properly she might want to a minimum of. properly you should bypass to the vet and ensure that out.

I suggest to get the diapers because it can be VERY messy. you should probably get her fixed if you do not plan on breeding her. It reduces the risk of her getting certain types of cancer and you dont have to deal with her being in heat.

about 4 weeks or so, she will bleed sporadicly maybe 10 days, she may seem uneasy and if she's outdoors she will attract males so watch out.
