I am 27 215 and 6'2 I work a stressfull job and never eat right, I go on diets for like a day and then I reach for a coke or candy bar or four cause I get stressed and coke seems to help. I dont like the idea of taking peas and carrots and a side of meat to work everyday cause it just sounds to boring and it seems like everyone at work eats like crap so I dont want to be the odd guy out, my job just seems too stressfull working on airplanes, I feal like im getting a little bit older now and need to take my diet more seariously expecially with the weather cause its always gloomy in england it seems, and I would like to be a more controlled person, I work out all the time but just eat like a crazed kid in a candy store, any body been hear before and made it out or anybody with any good pointers?

Take a sandwich.Pile it with turkey lettuce tomato.Healthier than junk food.

I can identify with you and I think many people can. It's very hard to eat right when your job is stressful. The best advise I can give you is this: first take a multivitamin with extra c everyday and plan your meals for the week and you can actually set them aside for when you come home at night. Don't buy any junk food at all----just fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Also I agree with you that the weather effects your mood which therefore sabotages our diet. When you go home at night, keep your house well lite to lift your spirits and it has been proven that
fatty fish helps people with depression. Try all this because It really works. Think positive and good luck!
Oh bye the way a little bit of chocolate is actually good for you and lifts the spirit---just a little!

Eat fruit and veg. Eat sweet fruits or dried fruits to stop your cravings for coke and candy bars. Good luck!:)

Veggies,fresh fruit,canned workes too,chicken,fish,nuts,and such. They all have lots of vitaminsand protiene which tend to fill luck,you up with less calories and more of a full stomach.
