The faa is always after pilots. all they want to do is find something wrong with paper work, or how you fly. they dig and dig until they find the pettiest thing to nail a pilot on and then the pilot has to go through so much paper work just to fix whatever the FAA found.

Thee FAA loves to make pilots miserable. So that is where that quote comes from

Ussually when the FAA gives a pilot a call, something bad is about to happen. It's very seldom that the FAA will call U for something good.

It is saying that the FAA gets pleasure out of making you pissed. Like when you are in a rush and you have that boss at your office who controls whether or not you work there who won't let you just get the job done... pretty much them in the aviation world.... you hate them but you need them

The FAA is there to make your life miserable, it's just a shirt making fun of them.

I think it's pretty funny.

If somebody says, "I'm from the FAA (or NTSB) and I'm here to help." watch out!

Chances are you're going to be driving your car or riding the bus for a while. Your aircraft insurance will probably be going up, too.

It goes along with the second most feared statement:

"I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."

HaHa...that is great. I can completely agree. I'd love to know where you found that.

Here is a close one, "To err is human, to blame is NTSB"
