Infidel is equivalent to the French infidele - but the word actually means "unfaithful", which, since it has a derogatory meaning, makes it very, very close to the itended meaning of the Arabic "kafir" ("unbeliever", but in a derogatory sense) that it is used as a translation for these days.

Are you on a crusade to call people names? You didn't even answer my question about water outside of the atmosphere with any intelligence. You just spewed elementary knowledge of the water cycle.
