I really, really want a girlfriend. I am 15 and a lot of people I know have one. I am pretty attractive, but I'm not a pretty boy. I want a girl who has decent enough looks, but I don't want a preppy girl, even if she is attractive because most of the ones I know are bitches. Most of the girls in my classes are either preppy, or they are kind of geeky.(not to be mean) I mean, there is one girl that went out with two of my friends and one time in the library, one kid that did go out with her, who I talk to, but he is kind of goofy, kept caling my name, over and over, and she told him to stop, saying "Leave him alone, he obviously doesn't like you". So she seems friendly, but I'm in none of her classes, and I don't know how I would approach her. I don't do any activities outside of school, and I am kid of shy. What should I do?

If you've got somethign really neat that you offer to share with her that might be an in. like this ....
"Hey I just read the book Eragon, that is one that is going to be made into a movie. It was great and I thougt you might like to read it too."
In person or with a note if you are too shy. I was shy, but now I realize there was no reason for it. The people who reject you really have no signifacnce in your life so you just move on and find your real friends elsewhere.

OK to get a girlfriend you must do these things......
*smell nice (i am being serious!)
*BE nice and friendly
*You dont have to be a pretty boy but belive it or not looks do count a little bit
*Nice clothes
*intelagence but not like nerdy-u know
*make her laugh
*do stuff for one of those girl u like they might like u back in no-time
*Dont make fun of her friends! BIG turn off
*dont judge her by popularity u will have gf's if u do that
*thats all i can think of

Dude, a girlfriend is not an accessory! "I know a lot of people that have one?!" Stop thinking of a girlfriend as something that's going to boost your social status or make you seem more appealing. Maybe after you reject those ideas, a girl might come along.

The more desperate you sound and look the more unlikely you will attract a woman.... Go out and have fan... Talk to women without showing any intention.... My guess you will find something pretty fast...
Also, you are 15... You got tons of time.....

Don't you think you are too young to be considering having a girlfriend at your age? Nothing is running away. You have your entire life ahead of you to date. Take your time and grow up--devote your time to studying and getting good grades in school.

High school girlfriends and boyfriends usually are come and go. You are in high school once so just have fun, get to know people and be active in school. people will get to know you and you will get to know people through the others that you meet.
