Question: what do u think about "gay" people?
Question Details: Gay means happy so doesn't apply. Homosexuals are the saddest, loneliest, implacable individuals on the planet because they seek for fulfilment yet remain empty inside. They pretend happiness. I think they crave attention and control yet somewhere along the way, lost real self-control for some reason or another. I think there are several ways they are enticed or otherwise drawn into this sexual addiction. 1)They have once known God in a real way and denied Him. Maybe even pretended Christianity or to have spiritual gifts. 2)They never really knew God in a real way or currently deny Him. 3)They were molested or seduced as youngsters or at some point in their life. 4)Abuse from the figure of sex they have an aversion to, possibly in a position of authority over them. 5)Neglect, abuse, or poor example from one or the other parent or an absent parent. 6) Drug experimentation or addiction 7) They are drawn to self-destructive

destructive behavior for the same reasons anyone else is 8) They want a unique identity and attention on themselves 9) They may have dabbled in the occult or opened themselves up to demonic influences through rock music or other venues to become sexually immoral 10) Their Grandpa might be their dad and their grandma forced their mom to give them up for adoption and they are very confused and hurt. (SERIOUSLY THIS HAPPENED TO MY FRIEND SO NO HATE MAIL) 11) They may have a porn addiction that drew them into it. 12) They like drama, fantasy, and flirting with danger so keep seeking a "high" that comes from doing the forbidden because that takes them away from the painful realities of life 13) They like to feel they are in control no matter what the circumstances and this is a form of rebellion as well

14)They like to manipulate others and create diversions so that when others are "put down" they feel better about themselves and it takes the focus off of them and their secret (or blatantly open) sins 15) They want to know that no matter what they have done or will do that they will still be loved because they think this proves real love towards them yet they never find it except in the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. (lack of proper boundaries which they test in every direction and think that no boundaries or being allowed to push them is interpreted as love) 16) They may not have been taught Biblically moral principles in the school systems which promote secular humanism and the homosexual agendas 17) They were raised in a home with one or both parents being homosexual

18) Lack of restraints in sexual exploration growing up or proper training; i.e. indulging in self-sex, never being told "No" or having consequences for wrong actions or choices 19) They fear not being in CONTROL most of all because at some time in their lives, the choice may have been taken from them. This makes it challenging for them to see the Heavenly Father in the correct light and to submit their will to Him in humble repentance which, if I'm wrong on some or all of the above, forgive me and realize that Jesus wants to give homosexuals a better life than what you have now. There is hope for change.

DeeLee, I didn't ask an athiest or anyone else to curse them. That's bigotry and it's wrong. You won't get my vote in that department.

Whoa sister! You are gonna get some "attacks", but that's only natural when the truth is spoken, and I think that you've hit on some topics here that are very relevant, but DENIED by people who live that lifestyle!!
Good job...

Carrie you are starting to sound like you are fixated on this subject.
Let it go. Step back and forget about it. What these people do is not our problem.
Do you assume that God is incapable of coming up with a plan for their salvation that is going to work? Where is your faith?
Trust that God is competent enough to assist and save each and every one of these people from these things that you find so troubling.
Jesus ask that we love our neighbors. He made no exceptions in this request for us to love unconditionally.
These people are the neighbors He ask us to love. This is what we are here to learn to do.
Love and blessings Don

Careful now. I am a Christian and I know many people who are gay; they are, by all means, as happy as anyone can be. I also know a couple of gay Christians - now beware! The sins that God are against are homosexual ACTS and lusts, NOT for BEING gay. These gay Christians have control, and put GOD and FAMILY before the sinful and lustful acts. No, they were never abused, neglected.. in fact, they were raised like anyone else. As for why they're gay, we'll find out when we ask God in Heaven.

i didn't read the whole thing (way too long, just get to the point), but i think i got the gist of it.
i hate people who say homosexuals are going against christianity and are bad/sinful. that is just stupid, because homosexuals are just as human as heterosexuals. i do not know anyone who is homosexual, but i have a friend that does and she says they are the nicest people. i think that this who question is crazy/stupid. just because someone is homosexual does not make them messed up, drawn to self distruction, or that they "never knew God"

Carrie, You opened yourself when you created a diatribe of your own feelings and it became "gay bashing". How would I have worded it? I would not have asked because this is not a forum for disidents. Unless you are Christian. Never expect that putting "Christians only" in front will garner only Christian response.

Sorry for answering.
I can only tell you what one atheist thinks of them. ************
Sorry Carrie. You speak much truth. Seriously, this the most comprehensive list of reasons for this behavior I've seen.
Unfortunately, you left out one important one. Many are born with that tendancy! Many people will say this is an excuse, but it's not. Perhaps it's a "curse". The "problem" comes into play for the homosexual when he/she commits the act. One that is born with that tendency can overcome it. In fact, if one is really truthful, you have to agree, it's a kind of mental illness. It's just that society accepts it as a "life-style".
Pediphelia, nymphomania, homosexual, sexual addiction, beastiality, etc. , any un-controlled sexual aversion; they're all wrong in my "opinion". But unfortunately, what determines right or wrong "in society" is society itself.
There are societies that allow sex with 11, 12, 13 year olds. But it's not considered pediphelia TO THEM. It is to us! There are societies that allow nymphomaniac behavior to a degree that is unacceptable to this society. And guess what, there are societies that allow what we would consider homosexual behavior.
On the other hand, there are societies that will KILL one for engaging in homosexual behavior! So who establishes the rules? Society does.
I saw a few guys while growing up, where as you could tell they were "funny". We as kids could see it. They had "tendencies". But it could have been suppressed. But in most cases it wasn't.
Good luck stopping the train.......................

If you are saying that you are homosexual, why are you also saying all this negative stuff about homosexuals? Pick one or the other. And by the way, a lot of people think its fine if you are gay. Try to spend time with other homosexuals and not seek approval from the Christian community.

I think you need to re-visit what Jesus actually taught and how He lived. Anyone that's actually done that and took it to heart, would never post such hatred toward anyone. Jesus didn't hate people because of their lives. Jesus said that the second most important command was for us to love one another. I don't see anything loving about your comments. He even said to love your enemies. If you see gays as your enemies, you're supposed to love them too.
