If these so called Atheists believe there is no God. Why the big fuss. When the Word God comes anywhere near them they strike back. If there is no God to these people or dont believe any at all, they shouldnt care. And besides i have seen many so called atheists cry out "OH MY GOD" when something tramatic or an event occurs in their life. Explain that?
Matthew 12: 36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Psalm 53
1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Its kinda sad to see so many people not uderstand that eventually you are all going to die one day, and you are going to be somewhere after life. Because a fool says that there is no life after death. Then what is the purpose for life.

I do have to say yes there are some so called christians that have totally perverted they way people see christians. The guy who sent me the video which explains why he is an atheist is only showing stupid laws made by so called christians. Cant drink beer on a Sunday , come on! Use your head and look into the history books a little. it is because of mans so called religions that they have curropted the faith. I see why that you have your beef with so called christians, because they are in darkness, and the blind cannot lead the blind.

"Why the big fuss. When the Word God comes anywhere near them they strike back. If there is no God to these people or dont believe any at all, they shouldnt care."

How would you respond if you were the minority in a Muslim country and everyone was saying "Allah" all the time. Would you just not care and respect their faith as the rightful majority?

Actually as an Atheists, most Atheists I know believe in live and let live and do not try to correct theists. I don't raise an issue when someone says "God Bless you" when I sneeze.

As for your bible qoutes. The Bible was written by men, and since men are failable so is the Bible. So your qoutes have no value to me as a means of judgement.

Move to Saudia Arabia, and you will get a taste of what it is like to live in a nation where the laws and culture of the land are being controlled by religion that is not your own.

Same thing here in the west. It is not simply that we have different beliefs, but that you are trying to force yoru beliefs on others by changing laws and society as a whole. This would not be apparent to someone who is a member of the christian crowd, but is quite obvious to everyone else.

"1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good."

Have you ever stopped to think that such evil vile may be the reason Atheists are striking back?

Dipsh*t.

If you believe something, you stand by it. You defend your point, especially when the opposing side tries to enact policy that oppresses you.

As for the "Oh my God" bit, plenty of people who have nothing against gypsies will say they got gyped if someone cheats them. Plenty of people call bad things "gay" even if some of them have no problem with men loving other men. Same with "retarded". They're expressions. If you search for a meaning in that, of course you can find something. That doesn't make it true.

One thing I find odd is that man, who was created less than perfect, is called a fool by his creator. How could an intelligent God expect his limited creation to be uniformly correct? Let's say I made a robot. Would you think I was being rational if it blew up I blamed the robot?

possibly they * shouldn't *. If God somewhat gave each and anybody loose will, then atheists, for even with reason, have determined now to not believe. As someone above already suggested, "arguing" for God's life is comparatively moot. interior the properly, someone will believe because the Holy Spirit ultimately convicted them of the fact. If one does not believe interior the Holy Spirit, i do not see that happening. If an atheist makes a decision their modern existence doesn't experience "accurate", they are going to search for some thing else. Do Christians have a "more advantageous suited" existence because of God? look at Paul, he replaced into beaten, whipped and run out of city for his beliefs. Christians ought to assert Christianity brings them convenience. An atheist ought to retort that they favor no such crutch. Christians ought to assert they sin a lot less. Ha! Neither has a lock on morality. You suggested that we gained't use "the afterlife" as a help for why Christianity is more advantageous suited. If this kind of quandary is placed on the reaction, then we ought to stay with studies in this earth. if so, if we decrease our reaction to existence on earth, lets discover that the atheist ought to * continuously * think of their existence is more advantageous suited as an unbeliever. this is not till you become a believe that your attitude adjustments to include the afterlife. --- extra ---- i noticed you suggested both "interior the lengthy run" and "brushing off the afterlife". To a Christian, both are inseparable.

Mon amie, surely this is a facetious question, non? The real question is why, as a majority social group, theists make a big fuss about atheists and exert their social and political muscle at every turn? As a minority group under attack for their belief system, atheists are constantly on the defensive. Thus your perceived fuss, which is actually simple, logical dialogue on the atheists part.

First of all, you don't need to refer to us as "so called atheists". We are atheists. The reason that there is a big fuss even though we don't believe in "god" is because it still effects our lives. Isn't it the same thing when a religious person says that homosexuals effect their life, even though the effect is not direct?
As for the saying "Oh my god", it's just a phrase that shows emotion. It's not like we take it literally when we say it.

i don't care if people say god around me. it's just it should not be in our pledge because not everyone in the country believes that it is under god. and it should not be on our currency because the "we" in "in god we trust" is referring to the nation. as a nation we do not trust in god, we do not trust in evolution, we do not trust in mohammad. we trust in nothing. because the goverment as a whole is religiously neutral (or should be).

and as for "there has to be some life after this one otherwise there is no point in life". um...that's not an argument. why does life have to have a point? why can it not just be random chance that we exist here?

now i believe in a god that exists outside of the realm of the universe and outside of the laws of logic and science. but i don't believe that he has any interference in the universe. he just created it to see what would happen. he just defined what was allowed t happen and let it happen, purely randomly.

If you really want to know why, follow the link below:

I sincerely hope you'll do so, and attempt to understand.

Edit - I'm not an atheist because of laws. My reasons for being an atheist have nothing to do with your question. Your question was, "Why the big fuss?"

Those laws you are dismissing are the reason for the fuss. Congratulations on your new discovery.

It's when you preach to those who don't care to hear it because you feel it's your 'christian duty' to spread your so-called truth to the unbelievers is when they make a big fuss. You wouldn't like it if they spent their lives convincing christians or other religious people that the atheist way is the only way.
