In some ideas sure. The liver can regenerate, and that's the reason at the same time as getting a liver transplant, they in problem-free words take a small piece of the donors liver. it truly is a purely right organ. Now, if the organ is diseased significantly, it maximum in all possibility isn't able to heal itself.

Yes, it's the only human organ that can regenerate itself. If someone needs a liver transplant they can take just a part of a donors liver and both will regenerate and heal.
I don't know to what extent or of it grows back completely as before but I do know that it can be done.

An injured liver does not instantly mean death. The liver is the ONLY organ in the human body which can regenerate itself if it loses 50%. You can remove part of your liver, donate it to a compatible recipient and it will grow back. Though in cases of some diseases, a liver will not heal.

To a certain extent. The Liver is the only organ in our body, other than our skin, that can regenerate itself. Thats not to say if you got stabbed our shot in the liver you don't need medical assistance, because you do. Basically, if you surgically cut out a portion of damaged liver, it will regrow back into healthly tissue.
