When making meatballs can I just used egg and spinach to hold the things together or to I have to you bread crumbs (this also applies to cracker crumbs and other bread type things)? thanks

you should be able to do it without using bread crumbs ty it there is no better way than just giving it a shot the worst thing that would happen is you would have to add bread craumbs. i dont used bread crumbs all the time just make sure you dont mix the hamburger too much or it will want to fall apart too much

You can use eggs but bread crumbs taste the best. I like to fry the meatballs to crisp the outside for about 10 minutes then bake them in the oven Delicous.

I think meatball soup. Meatball sandwiches are too difficult to eat.

I actually just use my exact recipe for meatloaf except I roll the mixture into meatballs. I prefer Ritz crackers over Saltine.It is really good.

Bread is actually a filler, not a binder. It's added to get more meatball for your buck! I don't use breadcrumbs in mine, just egg.

you can use whatever you want... i never use bread crumbs..... i use it in meatloaf, but not for meatballs...
though i understand it might help them stay together better, but they stay together fine for me!

use spinach and pineapples it may sound grose but it is the best meatballs ever

Breadcrumbs are usually nessecary however you can try the egg.
