2 girls at work where mucking around and one of them said to ask her out. then when she said ask me out i got nervous and went back to work but i dont no if she was joking what do you think!

and now they are saying i turned her down

Why not! It's not like your marrying her. You go out to get to know each other. You go to a restaurant and talk about your likes and dislikes to see if you have anything in common. If not, then go your separate ways. If you do, then hopefully it will turn into a good relationship. Good luck!
