which is the better competior i was told pioneer becuase they have built in croos overs

depends on what. Pioneer cd players and subs are better. Alpines amps and 6x9's are better.

i have a pioneer and from my experience it is better than an alpine. The reason for that is because with a pioneer you can fine tune your sound but as for alpine you only have the basic settings.

pioneer is cheaper and has good sound but Apine is a higher class.i have had pioneer and it is still working and is 7 years old go with pioneer.

if you like bass and quality go pioneer.
