I have a little time to answer since it's nap time here. I have two kids, ages 3 and 15 months. For breakfast we had cheerios and blue berries and for lunch a hammy sammy (ham sandwich.) Then we went into town to get things ready so we can leave tomorrow to go to Little Rock. How dumb am I? I'm driving my kids 9 hours to Little Rock, lol. My husband has exams this week and he can't exactly study if we're here being loud and fussy and cranky at bedtime. We can't go anywhere without Wooley, he is a stuffed animal lamb, and we bring apple juice everywhere. I don't spank per se', I do pop hands. Really though, it's me being mad that really upsets my kids. My kids' favorite bath time story is when I say that they were taking a bath and mommy forgot to get them out and they wrinkled up so much that they turned into raisins and I put them in my cereal and ate them. I made it up one night out of my own boredom and my son loved it. So now I have to try to remember it verbatim so I can tell it over and over. Why he loves it so much, I don't know. Anyway, I'm rambling, I'll leave you alone! Have an awesome day.

My little cousin I babysit has a purse with "lip gloss" in it that she has to carry around and she gets to push the little carts at the store, I let her pick out a couple little snacks or something to put in it. During driving time we play I-SPY and find the color to keep her occupied. Snack time I let her help spread peanut butter on celery and dip carrots in ranch dressing. We love grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, hot dogs, macaroni & Cheese, and peanut butter & jelly. Quick easy lunches. We make all kinds of crafts like cards, ornaments, drawings. I went to walmart and picked up plastic window suncatchers and a pack of markers and let her color them, then put magnets on the back to make refrigerator decorations. Walmart has a great kids craft section. Bedtime I let her choose a movie and she watches it until she falls asleep.

My 1yr old really seems to be enjoying couse couse ground turkey and green peas. I prepare the meat and peas with olive oil and a touch of chicken buillon. A pinch of margerine is added to the couse couse. Hearty meal.

Find a place for your child to go for at least 4-8 hours a week. You'll go nuts without some "me" time.
