I run walkers on my bass boat. I had to improvise a little bit, but they get the job done. I found the canon ones to be cheap.

Walker are very good, use electric though they cost a little more than manual it makes life a lot easier. They are low and easy to swivel. Cannon makes good riggers also but most of the charter captins I know use Walker as they last and are trouble free.
I have had 4 on my boat 5 seasons of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron salmon fishing with no problems.

Cannon Easy-Troll are small inexpensive downriggers that work great. My dad had them on his boat for walleye and salmon fishing Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and we never had a problem with them.
