That to me is a sad sadistic God you follow and he would burn me for telling you this-well I will gladly burn-proudly-knowing that I would spite this monster described in Revelations-which is a description of a being surrounded by more monsters-or are you just too afraid of burning yourself?

How anyone cannot see the glaring contradiction between the bible and what we all think God means, is beyond me. I will not live my life in fear of an imaginary place invented by men. I will not allow anyone to manipulate my life, by instilling fear to control me. The fact that this was initiated many hundreds of years ago, just makes it even more absurd.

God created us with free will, the ability to choose. However, you are acting as if God didn't even allow you an escape route! He knew that humans would turn against Him, so he made a means of escape from sin and death. Also, even though God gave us a choice, it is not a consequence-free choice. Just like you can choose not to put oil in your car, but the engine will burn up if you don't. That's a natural consequence of making the wrong choice. You can "choose" to abort your baby, but the consequence is that you will suffer depression, alcoholism, drug use, and breast/uterine cancer, and lowered self-esteem. The choices that really matter in life are not consequence-free. Another thing you should know is that the Bible does not say that people will burn in Hell forever. It says that they will be instantly consumed, never to exist again. The idea of an eternally burning Hell does not come from the Bible, but from ancient Greek and Roman paganism. Some people try to use a verse from the Bible that talks about an "eternal fire". The same phrase is used to describe the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Are S & G still burning today? Of course not. But the effects are eternal. So will it be with Hellfire. It's funny how Satan tries to attribute all HIS characteristics to God, while at the same time trying to persuade people that he (Satan) doesn't exist. The person you just described in your question is Satan, not God.

If you're basing this whole thing on Revelations . . . you're way off base! Revelations is a futuristic alegory! This was shown to the discpile John in a dream. This is what will happen in the future, and we don't know yet if this is figurative or literal. I do know that Christ will come back for his people, and what will happen on earth once we are taken to heaven will NOT be pretty or anything to look forward to. Plagues, dictatorship by the anti-christ, no thank you! Personally I'm not afraid of "burning" because I'm not going to burn!
God is not "going to burn you" He's giving you your choice to either accept him and live, or as you say "burn"! It's your choice!

Are you sure you have the whole picture or are you just babbling with out any conviction or knowledge of what is written? Do not draw you own conclusions, a lot of revelation is written in catechumenate code and it need to decoded before it can be understood. Get some REAL help so that you may understand what you are reading.

so what will be your second choice? why wouldn't you worship the God who created you and give you food, drink, eyes, arms , legs and much more.
i am a slave of God. and that's the honest truth and no regret regarding this.

[67] They made not a just estimate of Allâh such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!

You don't have to believe in that God. You can believe in a kinder, gentler, more sane God. Because clearly, that God isn't going to smite you; if he was, he'd have done it by now. And I'd have been smited a long, long time ago.

God is NOT a monster...
He gives all of us a chance...
All we have to do is take it...

yep i agree. but they dont pay attention to that stuff.

all they care about are the things that give them warm fuzzy feelings. they refuse to or deny anything that sounds bad (usually as works of the devil).

i dont theink they have the mental capacity to understand 2 concepts. "good" and "bad" so they just tend to focus on the one they like....the "good". and of course that means puppies and kitties and sunshine.
