OK he is currently single, i PRACTICALY LOVE HIM(i am a girl), his name is brooks,and he is a semi-popular guy in my grade (like me) but besides me nody falls head over heels for him, and he acts like he likes me.... i guesse what i am trying to ask is.....how do you know if a guy likes you (ages 12,13,or14)

Ask him to hang out. See if you two get along. Don't judge him by his popularity among others, what matters is what you feel.

Boys at 12 - 14 are socially awkward at this age. Your best bet is to assume he likes you and act accordingly.
Males do not "act". They either like you or they don't. No guessing involved. So, if he "acts" like he likes you, he most likely does. He may be socially awkward and be thinking the same thing about you.

invite him over or meet him somewhere, guys tend to spill there guts if you get them in a big conversation. you could either find out that way or by his body language while your talking to him. also, if he calls you all the time for no reason, that is a big clue.

try some..."tests" to see if he does fall head first 'cause admiting it before the truth will make everyone (you too) feel stupid
