Don't do it.
-Ugly, especially with the body side molding
-underpowered 3.4 liter V6
-poor reliability
-dismal resale value
-very hard to resell
-rides poorly
-handles poorly
-people will point and laugh and make fun of them
Even the execs at Pontiac admitted this car was a mistake, and they very rarely admit to anything bad. If your friends are justifying this clunker by pointing out the built in cooler or available tent/camping options, advise them an igloo cooler is $15, and a coleman tent is $50.

OK, I usually try to answer questions factually, & without bashing, or sarcasm.....
But ....
We, in the auto business, think that the Aztec is one of the ugliest vehicles ever made!
I'm not trying to be mean....it is a fact...that's what we think.
BUT because of the Aztecs unpopularity......they are dirt cheap!
So if your friend doesn't mind the looks, and is on a budget...
This could be a 'good thing'.
Tell them to get a really good deal! Whatever the dealer is asking....they'll be happy to discount, drastically, to get it off their used car lot!

don't think they made them that year. besides ,not a good car. the VIBE.is better.
