In a relationship, how long should you wait?!

wait until YOU are comfortable and ready...... it doesnt matter if its 3 dates or 3 months..... do not do anything unless you are ready

A commitment like marriage was established by God for many good reasons. One of those reasons is this: If a man or woman is willing to have sex before they make a commitment and actually get married, what is to say that they will not be with another person the next week. Getting married takes trust and shows that two people want to be together their whole lives. Not having sex before marriage shows that both partners can make a commitment and keep it. This helps both partners to know that the other person will stick to the commitments they make, like marriage. So, If you have an engagement that last a year (which is good amount of testing time) and the other person can't wait that long before they have sex with you, chances are they won't stick to being married with you either and they'll find another person to have a fling with even if you get married.

When you feel that you've got a hold on him, like you got the feeling that he's really likes/or love you, and you kinda feel the same way, then sleep with him. That way, he'll be in too deep to feel like leaving you or having you as someone to just have sex wit. But wait until you see the signs that he's well into you. So the length of time differs from different guys. I reckon at least a month tho. If you really like him make him wait of you'll regret it.

If you want to have a long happy and prosperous marriage even if it's not ultimately to him, Wait until you get married. But even before that you need to know his religious background and get on the same page. Remember, over 50% of all marriages end in divorce and most of them are related to having sex out of wedlock. Don't do it ! ! !
Happily married for 43 years. because I followed this advice from a friend.

You should wait until you are in love and ready to commit to a long term relationship.
I'm not a until marriage pusher, but lets split the difference. Wait until your engaged or move in together.

Depends on your age. Teen - wait until you're at least out of high school, but preferably longer....... 20's or older- when you feel the time is right. It could be the first date or the honeymoon. It's pretty much up to you and your values system.

Don't have sex just because you spent a lot of money on his Christmas, again, having sex right before giving him the boot sends the wrong signal and you lose your self-respect in the process.

Wait until you know that it's something you want to do. Go with your heart and gut feeling or else you may regret that night forever.
Do what feels right to you and don't worry about what he'll think of you if you decide not to go through it..

it depends on the person you are with and the feelings you have for them. I waited only 2 days! and now we are getting married and ive know him less than 2 months.
