i am wanting to upgrade EVERY thing from pioneer and dual to kenwood or kicker what one is better or you can give me some other brand i don't want to pay more than $150 for each sub and i want 2 subs.i need to get some 6X9 for the back and 4X6 for the front.i wil pay about $150 for the 6X9 and about $100 for the 4X6.so what brand is better feel free to recommend another brand as long as it is in the price range listed.

if you want just pure loud dumb bass. then go kicker. if you want sound quality, go with Kenwood EXCELON!! here is a link where you will get much much better Kenwood stuff then they sell in crutchfield. check it out. again that "excelon".

Kicker is by far the best choice, but I'm afraid it will not fit into your price range. Don't even bother with a Kenwood amp, they are junk. Check out ebay, but be carefull. You may be able to pick up some component sets - they give the best sound hands down. You absolutly have to run at least two amps, 1 for the sub/subs, and one for everything else. Get a good mono amp for the subs, and you may be able to skimp a little on a 4 channel amp for the rest. If you can, get yourself a Kicker S12L7 sub - a KX 600.1 amp and a couple component sets - either kicker or soundstream.
