If you really love him, i would say.... Have you asked him why he treats your friends like crap? I would say start there first. Make sure you are clear on how you feel. I was once in a similar cituation as yours and i put up with it for quite some time because i loved him. Once i got to that "blow up point" he had NO idea i was feeling that way nor did he realize what he was doing. It was normal in his personality to treat others like that. Once we had a long talk, things began to change after a bit for the better. It may just be your boyfriends personality?? Again, talk to him and tell him how you feel and make sure he understands and sees what he is doing. Hopefully if he cares about you enough, he will respect your feelings and friends. COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY
If you don't love him..... "kick him to the curb" there are plenty of guys out there willing to treat a girl with respect and their friends. Good luck.

If you are just waiting for an excuse to break up with him . . I think it is over. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to end it. You can either take the gifts back, dontate them to salvation army, or give them to him as a farewell. If you are really not sure you want to break up . . . . try bringing up that you think the two of you should take a break. Sounds stupid, but that is what I did and as it turned out, breaking up ended up being the right choice. We even get along better now as just being friends. Good luck.

Well if you are unhappy than you should end the relationship. Especially if you are losing feelings for him. I am sure you wouldnt want to be lead on. As far as the money you spent on gifts. Well, you can always return the gifts. But this is about the relationship not gifts. Just because you dont want to be with him doenst mean you cant give him something for Christmas.

Being a jerk to your friends should be a deal breaker... he could at least pretend to like them, when they're around... just take the gifts back... or better yet, give 'em to someone else. If you have been bored for so long, it's time to break it off... it is unfair to him, and you, to keep stringing him along. There are other fish in the sea for both of you... no since investing your time in something that is going nowhere... right?

What is this world coming to??? This is a no brainer. The fact that you're looking for a reason to break up with him is reason enough. Take the Christmas gifts back and give him a pink slip instead.

BF's come and go. Your friends will be with you always. If you are already thinking of breaking up with him, then do it. You need to be happy.
Return the expensive gift that you bought him and spend it on yourself!

Find your receipts and take all of the stuff back! Don't just stay in a relationship for that reason. If you are unhappy, get out! Life is too short!

Return the gifts. Or give them to someone else. Haven't you ever heard that boyfriends come and go, but friends last forever? Kee him around long enough, and your friends will start to feel like he's more important to you than them. Why would you want to be with someone who hates your friends anyway?

Do not punish yourself because of a few purchases. Kick him to the curve and save the gifts for someone else(birthdays) or return them(hope you kept the receipt)!
