Even after you get in the military, there are many (shots) that you are required to get. I don't remember getting a prostate exam until I reached a certain age? It is just to see if you have the proper fitness to complete boot camp.

When you enter basic you will spend half a day doing medical stuff. They will draw your blood and you will get a shot which has several different vaccines all in one. They don't really do anything else to you during that time. Most of the other poking and prodding is done at MEPS. After basic you will get medical exams at least once a year. Most of those are really simple. However, you will get a lot of shots your first few years in the military and then maybe one or two every year.

Your going to have to give a blood sample and get some shots. There is a hernia check. I had no prostate check but have heard of people having it done. Everything else is standard eyes, ears, ect.

It just a general physical.

All of those and more. They check your blood, urine, eyes, lungs, heart, and check you for diseases, also.
