Taco Seasoning Mix
1/4 cup dried minced onion
1/4 cup chili powder
3 tablespoons salt
4 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
1-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
Combine the first nine ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 1 year. Yield: 6-7 batches (about 3/4 cup total).

My kinfolk's widespread. not out of a container. Rice Casserole a million to at least a million a million/2 lbs hamburger a million cup chopped or julienned bell pepper a million/2 cup chopped onion a million 15 ounce can tomato sauce a million dollop catsup a million dollop mustard sprint of salt a million cup shredded cheddar cheese (a minimum of) 2 cups cooked prompt rice prepare dinner the hamburger, bell pepper and onion till performed. upload the tomato sauce and prepare dinner for 5 min or so. upload the catsup, mustard salt and rice. blend properly. blend in 1/2 the cheese. positioned right into a casserole dish and into the oven at about 350 degrees for type of 30 min. 10 minutes previously performed, sprinkle some thing of the cheese on the properly. This tastes large and is sooo elementary! wish this enables!

You can use almost anything really, but what I've always done is: Onion powder, garlic salt/garlic pepper. You can add paprika, or even some Cayenne pepper to spice it up, but you should be in good shape with the first 3 ingredients. Make sure you put enough in though, because you won't be able to taste it otherwise. Good luck. Dave

to make my own tacos, I just use tomato sauce (small can) and onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder and cumin. I dont use a set amount, I just "eye-ball" it. One hint though if you do it that way, let it simmer a few min before tasting and adding more seasonings. It just it time to cook together and develope the flavors. It usually takes a few tries to get it just the way you like it. Good luck, and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

Here's the one I use. I like it because I can change the amounts.
6 teaspoons chili powder
5 teaspoons paprika
4 1/2 teaspoons cumin
3 teaspoons onion powder
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

chili powder. cumin. garlic (or garlic powder). jalepenos. green chilis. salsa. pepper. salt.
you're making tacos i assume...i don't use taco seasoning. i personally like half a jar of whatever salsa i have in the house plus chopped garlic and salt and pepper.

garlic powder, lime juice, chili powder, fresh salt and pepper. I Iike the powders (like garlic/onion powder) rather then the salts (garlic/onion salt) as it is really easy to over do it with the salty taste.
