Yes since its the only consulate in China that handles immigration visas they are very inflexible. I have waited for my appointment all day just to find out that I have to come back. Good luck if you are dealing with them. However if you are working with them for an adoption you probably won't have such a hard time from what I have heard.

No. I wouldn't go to China if I was taking my last breath, and they could save me. They're communist, and are America's enemy, nevermind that they are out to destroy us, and hate our guts so much that they are trying to make "friends" with Mexico in hopes of spying on us! Poo on China. Even American's sweet and sour pork tastes better than theirs!
