i was just released i need to know about how to be recompensated for lack of housing food and nessesary dues that may be owed due to the neglegence while in custody.

Sorry, when my husband comes out of prison, he will still have to deal with debt and unpaid expenses. The government does not owe you anything. If a person was on Social Security, for instance, they lose it in prison and would have to Reapply for it when they get out.

You have to start all over. Hopefully you have family or friends willing to help you! Good luck.

If you take your release papers to Human Resources, ( Food Stamp Office ), they can help you make record and allot you the amount your intitled to Monthly and any other assistance you may be entitled to. You mentioned negligence, while in custody,

Not enough information. As long as you had bread and water and a roof over your head, it's all good. There are no dues... you don't get paid to be in jail.

unfortunately theres nadda u can do. if you didnt like it u shouldnt have gotten yourself put there! speaking from experience of course.i spent 3 months in san joaquin county jail last year and it wasnt that bad but it was enough to make me change my ways..
