because its B.S.
back during the pagan massacres the Papacy (the pope) realized that they couldnt kill all the pagans. so they decided to attempt to absorb them or breed them out.
this is the same thing the christians are doing. .they figure if they slap on a jesus sticker on it they can move evolution to support their idiotic claim. unfortunately evolution tends to imply that there is no god. (firstmover perhaps, judeo-christian diety....i think not)
its just an attempt to remove a very big obstacle that they cant get over or defend against.

Because NO ONE can observe evolution, which is virtually why the science can never be proven!
We have to make a FULL and COMPLETE map of the DNA and GENOME that CONTINUES to endure for 500,000 years and then in the FUTURE Science has to prove how the evolutioinary changes occur by actually GENE and GENOME changes.
This has, thus far, ONLY been done in PLANTS. Not animals.
It has been done in VIRUSES, but they tend to call most changes a MUTATION because they are rapid and violent.
A virus changes DNA structure and goes from BIRDS to HUMANS in one day.
That is NOT considered evolution. That is considered MUTATION.
For, example, a SAVANT. Let's take a specific on. The SAVANT who can look at a page of numbers for 1 second and give you the correct answer.
For this type of SAVANT, which we call a MUTATION today, to become EVOLUTIONARY, in 500,000 years we have to see a HUGE number of people born with this faculty and those WITHOUT IT to dwindle in numbers.
THAT, would prove Darwin's theories are correct to a degree. It would be a FIRST CONCRETE PROOF.
You would need to document others to establish that the DARWIN MOTIF is 100% correct.
That would take 2 million or more years of doing DNA and Genome mapping the SAME WAY.
To use PLANTS and VIRUSES as concrete proof, doesn't establish much of anything as far as HUMANS and COMPLEX ANIMALS are concerened.
And evolution, by Darwin's own stated belief system, does NOT happen over night. Nor can you "GRAFT" humans, at this point in time, although we are trying to do with with stem cells and genetic changes.
We are trying to create a Brave New World of Huxleyan proprotions in the lab.
We are attempting to make INTELLEGENT DESIGN a reality in the scientific community.
The Bible only covers 4,000+ years of human history. That isn't enough of a time span under Darwin's OWN concepts to prove much of anything other than maybe some birds change feather colors as they migrate, but you need someone to watch birds and document this change. That Bible wasn't concerened with that.

First define "gods". "Gods" can be merely more highly evolved and transcendent entities that occupy our universe. Maybe we are looking in the wrong direction for our creator. In the billions of years that our universe has existed it is just as probable that maybe all that had to pop into existence was one DNA molecule with that fascinating ability to replicate, mutate, and then disseminate by whatever physical means available in an environment. I see life as a virus of sorts that tends to contaminate previously sterile places with proliferation of organic matter from excrement to humans as we contemplate our navels...Basically the answer about sand farmers puts this question about the Bible and its contents into focus: what we call the Bible is a sanitized rendering of a people's history (the Jews) that the Christian church has insinuated itself into when Constantine declared Rome a "Christian" nation, thereby paganizing and erasing the relavance of the Torah, the Prophets, etc. which are a part of the nation they sought to deligitimize in any way since the Diaspora around 70 A.D. Besides, discovering the mechanics of creation or the world we exist in is the domain of scientists. If science points to something other than a literal interpretation of someone's scripture or canon, then spiritual analysis of what it is one truly believes in is in order. Where ever we came from is moot; where we are going (and I don't necessarily mean heaven or hell) is what we should focus on as humans, as individuals, and as a race.

In genesis it says that god made the animals for adam to find a mate from but it didnt work so then he supposedly made Eve. What I find rather strange is how it also says that with the help of god she had cain and abel and that seth was the first one to be born in adams image. So what does that say ? It tells me that god was doing her before adam was. We also all know that it takes sperm to fertilize an egg inside a womans body to make a baby. So why would god choose a virgin to have his son? Mary and Joseph messed around before they were married and Mary got pregnant and so to avoid being stoned to death it was better to blame it on god. Everyone has the right to believe in what they want to as for me you can tell I am sure that I dont believe a word of any of that mumbo jumbo written in the bible.
People want to believe that there is a god because they fear death and nothingness. It is much easier to accept death if one believes that death does not end it all and they will live again. The only living anyone does after death is in the memories of those they left behind. . The bible contradicts itself starting at page one to the last page. and speaks only of killing people and punishments , I have yet to find a page that only speaks of love and nice things.

Here's an idea for you- IF there was a god, and judging by his/her actions today- do you really think the bible has ANYTHING to do with THAT god?? Did you ever consider the fact that NOBODY is anywhere close to "right" at all, and the bible is just put together by former world leaders to help keep the populace under control?

Science is involves the discovery of what is, and tries to explain how what is came to be. Religion is mostly faith in what someone said thousands of years ago to explain what is, when they didn't have the ability and science to explain what they saw.
Gods were invented to explain what people said. Jehovah was a thunder god, and adopted by the those in exiled in Babylonian servitude, where Jehovah was a very minor god.
Science on the other hand tries to explain what is. Religion tries to explain everything on faith, which means that it cannot be explained, and doesn't fit what really is in experienced in the world.

Because the Bible is all about pointing out how much we need God in our lives and not about us understanding science. About the need for humans to have supernatural intervention from the Lord to perfect our minds and spirits. He made the laws of nature and knew we could figure it out.

The bible is a book of and about faith. Also, there was no real science or evidence, in the ways that we understand them, at the time the bible was written/edited. If you believe in the bible, it is an exersize of faith, not logic.
