I have a sister and she'll probably spend holidays with my family. She'll be using my computer, I suppose and I don't really want her to find my xxx folders. I would like to "hide" these data somehow. Is it possible - i've heard about TRUE CRYPT program - but is it possible to use something better, that is unnoticeable for other users? Maybe STEGANOS SAFE??? What do you think?

True crypt would fit the bill it is a free open source on the fly encryption tool that uses algorithms to control access. You can make folders or whole drives unreadable with out pasword. then right click and chainge to "hidden file" also make sure your settings are not set to display hidden files.

read all the documentation and don’t forget your password as there is no backdoor to retrieve after you lock it down

Depends on how good she is with the Computer. If she´s really good you havn´t got a chance of hiding anything.

A good way is make two accounts under XP, yourself as administrator.

Make sure your "special" folder is in "your folders" in your user profile (My Documents and its subfolders).

Explore the MY Documents, Right click on the folder you want to protect, select "sharing and security" and select "make this folder private", then apply.

It´ll ask you if you want to create a password, do this and follow the easy steps. Note:-This only works with folders in the MY Documents folder or subfolders

The safest way, if your really paranoid is to burn it all onto a CD or copy it onto your Mp3 player, USB camera etc and delete the files on the hard drive.

P.S the above answers won´t work, as all she has to do is select the option " show all folder" in windows explorer.:)

You can use Acronis Disk Director for hiding partitions. Also it can resize, move, copy, split, and merge partitions without losing your data. After all I think Disk Director is the best partition manager for now, so you won't regret about purchasing it. Here is a full information: http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/diskdirectorsuite/

If she is a novice user you can just make the file hidden.
Then go to Folder Options under control panel and make sure "do no show hidden files and folders" is checked.

John is absolutely right. You can easily create a separate partition for you private data and then hide it using Disk Director.

put all the files in 1 folder than right click on the outside of the folder and click hidden u can see it no more but if u go to control panel than folder options than view than go down to under hidden files and folders click either show hidden or don't show hidden...when they are hidden you can not detect the files anywhere on your computer!
